Your Mother, Clytemnestra
A mother’s perfect life. In a mother’s perfect kitchen. Your Mother, Clytemnestra transforms Ryhmäteatteri’s stage into a well-equipped kitchen brimming with maternal power, where Mother’s fateful, transgenerational bravura—her symptomatic motherly love—simmers on the stove.
Minna Lund’s latest play plays with psychoanalysis and is loosely inspired by the ancient Greek tragedy Electra, in which Clytemnestra’s daughter decides, together with her brother, to murder her mother.
